Dr. David Almeida
Dr. David Almeida, MD, MBA, PhD is a highly qualified ophthalmologist and retinal surgeon. With an Honors B.S. from the University of Toronto and a Ph.D. in pharmaceutical research from the University of Szeged in Hungary, Dr. Almeida combines comprehensive medical knowledge with an academic background. Further credentials include an MBA in healthcare management from The George Washington University and an ophthalmology residency and fellowship at the University of Iowa.
Dr. João (John) Trein
Dr. João (John) Trein, MD, MpH is a distinguished anterior segment and vitreoretinal surgeon. Dr. Trein earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), Brazil. He completed his ophthalmology residency and clinical and surgical retina fellowship at the University of São Paulo, where he also served as a preceptor. With over two decades of clinical and surgical expertise in Brazil and the United States, Dr. Trein currently resides in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
